The Site Squad Bootcamp LE costs $1,500 CAD per participant. That covers your Bootcamp Kit, two full days of hands-on training, your practical assessment, your written quiz, and your certificate of completion. Who is The Career Foundation?
The Career Foundation is a non-profit, registered charity that provides free employment services to job seekers and employers across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. They’re part of the Employment Ontario network and receive funding from the Provincial and Federal Governments. They’ve served more than 5,000 job seekers every year and have over 4,000 employer partners.
How the partnership works
When you connect with The Career Foundation as a job seeker, you’re matched with an Employment Specialist who works with you to identify the path that best fits your situation. For people interested in entry-level trades work, our Site Squad Bootcamp LE can be one of those paths. Eligible participants can have their training fully covered, meaning $0 out of pocket.
Who qualifies?
Eligibility is determined by The Career Foundation and depends on your situation: your employment status, your goals, your eligibility for Employment Ontario services, and the funding currently available. The best first step is to register directly with them, talk to an Employment Specialist, and ask about pre-employment trades training.
If you’re a caseworker or support worker
We work directly with referring agencies to place participants into upcoming cohorts. If you support adults on social assistance, newcomers to Canada, or persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities, and you think a hands-on, two-day trades bootcamp might be a fit for someone in your caseload, get in touch.
